Since I've started blogging I've had to increase my playing time on social media. Do I like it? Not particularly. I've always struggled with headaches and staring at a computer screen, iPad, or iPhone doesn't help. It's just not a healthy habit. 

​What does staring at a computer screen, iPad, or iPhone do to your health?
  • ​strains your eyes
  • blurs your vision
  • causes tension in your neck
  • causes soreness in shoulders
  • causes irritability 
  • can be considered rude during social meals, family functions, & work hours
  • there can also be other chronic health related issues 

What's a girl to do?
There are plenty of ways you can reduce the time you spend staring off into a computer screen. Not only did I want a break from constantly looking at my computer/iPhone, but I also wanted a break from social media. I decided that I would delete a single app off my phone for an entire day! (Ex: Monday- Twitter, Tuesday- Snapchat, Wednesday- Instagram, & so on). It was way easier than I thought. It was so nice having ONE less thing to check during day.

Time to try it out!
​Set boundaries for yourself. Try setting specific times to check your apps. Remember to be in the moment. At the end of the day, our memories are all we really have!
