Lets BEE honest, I can't believe Memorial Day has passed, and June is almost here! I have exciting news for the upcoming month... I am going to be raising funds for Whole Foods' non-profit, the Whole Kids Foundation. I am bee-yond thrilled to take part in their Give Bees a Chance campaign. "Bees are a critical contributor to so many of the foods we love. One in three bites of the food we eat is made possible because of pollinators. When you give children access to an educational bee hive, they learn first-hand about the essential role pollinators play in nature and in growing our food." we need plants. plants need bees. bees need us."Let's get kids buzzing about pollinators and let's GIVE BEES A CHANCE by raising funds to support local schools with educational bee hives. We have nearly 250 schools waiting for honey bee hive grants." My goal is to raise $350 during the month of June. If you would like to donate you can click here to also Give Bees a Chance. Cochon, a staple restaurant here in New Orleans, is hosting a dinner to help raise funds. If you would like to purchase tickets or want more information please click here. All selections and opinions in this post are my own. Special thanks to Whole Foods Market for sponsoring this post.
