It's Friday and just like everyone else I'm ready to enjoy the weekend. I wanted to 1st point out a few of my favorite details regarding this Fashion Friday look from Shop Dolce. As much as we're all wishing for cooler weather I don't 'feel' it coming anytime soon. Which is why this blush lace up dress is perfect for New Orleans weather. The material is light and super breathable and these grey knee high boots are ridiculously comfortable and help complete the look. The taupe fringe sweater is an easy re-wear! I can dress it up with heels for a Saints game or throw on cute flats and jeans. And if you haven't seen the details on the grey suede skirt, keep scrolling. Leave a comment and let me know what you think! All selections and opinions in this post are my own.

Working for progress over perfection is a hard concept for me. I have to constantly remind myself that failing doesn't mean it's over. It's just another opportunity for me to grow. I want to try and post more about areas I can grow in which is going to be difficult because no one wants to post about how their life isn't picture perfect. People will often tell me that I'm always involved in something and it's true! Who doesn't want to be well-rounded?! I want to learn more and experience as much as I can so that I can be good at multiple things. I want people to know that they can count on me because I'm knowledgeable and experienced. The amount of pressure and what I expected out of myself isn't always healthy. I know it's OK to be mediocre at some things and I pray to let go of the things I can't control. To the people who are living perfectionists, I don't think it's all that bad. It just shows how much we care and that we are eager for success. We must try to remember not to chase after perfection because we are enough, just the way God created us! Lately I've been following His plan over my own and I can honestly say I'm happier because of it. All selections and opinions in this post are my own.
I'm so excited to finally share what it's been like to be a brand ambassador for Michelob ULTRA! This Summer was crazy-fun and I couldn't be more thankful for the opportunity of being able to promote my favorite beer. With only 95 calories and 2.6 carbs Michelob ULTRA is the obvious choice, my active and social lifestyle aren't compromised. I can stayed balanced through real life experiences and draw true happiness from them. This Summer I got to meet and workout with other brand ambassadors who also promote a healthy and fit lifestyle. The Live ULTRA summer series was a collection of exclusive fitness events held around the country. I've listed the events I attend below and included some pictures from each event. I've always been a fan of a chunky heel and these Sam Edelman shoes are making me real excited for the Thanksgiving Holiday's. My jeans are HUDSON jeans and they're another perfect piece to transition you through till Winter. Can we talk about this corduroy button-up jumper which you can mix & match with just about everything. Beside the shoes the jumper might be my favorite piece. Hemline Metairie for the win! Geaux Saints! modern map artAnd just for extra lagniappe I wanted to share an art piece I recently received that flows with everything that's going on right now. Yes it's football season and we love our New Orleans Saints but it's also been a tough week for Houston. If you're a supporter/lover of Houston then you can find a map of Houston here (just like the one pictured below). All selections and opinions in this post are my own.
