berry protein pancake bites

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup of protein powder
  • 1/2 cup of pancake mix
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup of almond milk
  • powdered sugar and syrup
  • fresh berries cut up into small pieces

Directions:
  • Heat oven to 350.
  • Combine protein powder, pancake mix, milk, and an egg. Mix!
  • Pour mixture into muffin pan and top with a few small berries.
  • Bake until golden (about 15 minutes)!
  • Sprinkle powdered sugar or dip into syrup and enjoy!

apple cinnamon breakfast quinoa

It's Thursday which basically means it's Friday! What do you guys have planned this weekend?! I'm going through my closet and preparing for Fall since the 1st official day is 32 days away. Woohoo! I'm excited for football, tailgates, and Fall fashion. This recipe gives me ALL the Fall feels! Let me know what you think!

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup of quinoa
  • 2 chopped apples
  • 1/4 cup of cinnamon
  • almond milk
  • honey
  • coconut flakes
Substitution:
  • walnuts
  • chocolate chips (instead of coconut flakes)

Directions:
  • ​Stovetop. For every 1 cup of quinoa add 2 cups of water. Add in your chopped apples immediately and bring to a boil.
  • Add in your cinnamon and stir.
  • Top with extra apple chunks and pour a splash of almond milk.
  • Add your desired amount of honey and sprinkle in coconut flakes.
  • Enjoy!
